One of the gem cities of Northern Europe, Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. The hill of Toompea is at the historical heart of the city. The lower town spreads out from the foot of the hill, still protected by the remnants of a city wall, and around the city wall is a series of well-maintained green parks, great for strolling.

Tallinn receives volumes of tourists, especially daytrippers from Helsinki, its sister city across the Baltic Sea. The city is home to several clubs, pubs, bars, and restaurants, and is known for its vibrant nightlife.
